We've quite literally designed more logos than we can remember, and logo design continues to be a core part of our business today, from logo tweaks and refreshes, to full corporate identity development projects.
We do understand that while we designers see these little works of art as something to be treasured and critically analysed for hours on end, that’s perhaps not a sentiment everybody shares with us! So instead of waxing lyrical about each and every logo we’ve designed over the years, here’s just a quick summary of our designs, and a little bit about the strategic approach we apply to our logo designs.
Experience has taught us that our approach to logo development needs to fit with the client. Whereas one person might want us to undertake a full strategic brand development process, another will have a really clear idea of what they want, or need refinement to an existing logo. We don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, so we adapt to whatever is best for our clients.
We believe (and this is based on client feedback, not our own random musings!) that we are fairly unique in how we handle the conceptual logo development stage. Rather than presenting a limited set of initial logos, we see this as a key opportunity to really engage the client in the creative process, developing a very wide range of creative directions, before moving onto the refinement stage.
We don’t set strict limits on how many tweaks you can make to your logo. We’d prefer to spend the extra time to make sure you are happy with the end result. We also take great care with the final delivery of your logo, providing a clear brand overview document to ensure that your new brand identity works just the way we all intended.

‘The DoubleTake Live Branding Technique’
Where appropriate, we also offer our unique ‘Live Branding’ technique: This is an exciting process that we created in-house, which enables us to develop a brand identity during a creatively immersive client workshop session carried out either in our office or at the clients’ office.
It’s a genuinely results-oriented approach, allowing all key stakeholders to be a part of the creative development of their brand, and finalising a brand identity within a very short space of time.
The DoubleTake Live Branding Technique wouldn’t suit every client we work with, but for those who are happy to make quick decisions and enjoy being involved in a creative process, it’s something we highly recommend, so please ask us about it if you’re interested.
