I have been an independent graphic designer since 2005:  A journey that started with me moving briefly to Africa to work for just one client, and eventually led to me forming DoubleTake Creative back in London.

I thrive on variety and the challenge of helping other people develop their businesses with my design support. It’s the satisfaction of hearing somebody tell me I’ve made a positive difference to their business that has motivated me to keep expanding my company, which is essentially founded on a genuine desire to help people.

Clients often tell me that they really value my calm, measured and efficient service. I’ve come to realise over the years, that the talent to produce a great piece of design is equal to the ability to listen, understand and genuinely care about the clients I work for. This ethos is something I work hard to keep at the core of DoubleTake as it continues to grow.

Who we are

DoubleTake Creative is a small graphic design consultancy, providing a genuinely personal and flexible creative service.

Our success stems from developing strong, long-lasting client-relationships, giving us a deep understanding of the people we work for, and how we can strategically work to support their business growth.

We work out of both central London and St Albans in Hertfordshire.

Who we work for

We are fortunate enough to have a really wide-ranging list of clients, several of whom we have been working with for over a decade.

We work with well-established international corporations such as Virgin Unite and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), through to fast-growing national organisations including Hamberley Care Homes and Odyssey Travels, and a variety of amazing small business owners both in the UK and overseas.

Our sector-experience is very broad and includes clients in the not-for-profit, travel and tourism, hospitality, media, entertainment and professional service industries.

Our core service is graphic design, but clients frequently ask us to support them with complementary services, such as website development and copywriting. We have therefore built up a small team of trusted partners to collaborate with as and when we need to.

These partners are all experts in their fields, based in and around London, and include:

- Website development and digital strategy consultants
- Animators and 3D designers
- Illustrators
- Copywriters
- Printers (see print management services below)

This business model allows us to offer a truly bespoke service, by using the strongest and most relevant team of people for each individual project.

Charitable support

Over the years we have worked with many charities on some extremely rewarding projects.

It gives us a huge sense of satisfaction to support such worthwhile projects, and in light of this, each year we offer a free design project to a not-for-profit organisation.

You may benefit from this free support either because you are a charity in your early development stages without sufficient funding for creative services, or just in need of some extra design clout which current circumstances make it harder to find the budget for, either way we'd be happy to see if we can help you.

Print management

We have over a decade of experience in managing design for print, and work with a roster of trusted print suppliers within the UK. We can therefore handle all aspects of print management, from concept through to print production and delivery. Alternatively, if you prefer to work with your own print suppliers, we can happily deliver your print-ready artwork and can liaise directly with them to make sure the job runs seamlessly.

Over the years we have not only built up very strong relationships with specialist print suppliers, but also very strict working processes to ensure that our artwork is always correctly set up for print, avoiding any irritating issues with our designs once they go to the printers.

We are always happy to advise you on suitable paper stocks and finishes, whether you’re looking for the most economical option or to invest in something highly premium, taking into account your goals, budgets and timelines. In fact we could be accused of having a slightly obsessive streak when it comes to analysing the infinite ranges of papers and print finishes available! But seriously, it’s often those intricate details that make the real difference to your brochures, business cards and marketing materials, so we will always do everything we can to help you get the best print result.
